My name is Pam and I met Stan at an association similar to Discerning Diners, in 1990.  At that time we were both keen to expand our social circle whilst meeting people with similar tastes and interests.

Stan and I sat opposite each other on his first visit.  Over the next few months we met regularly at the gourmet evenings and we found we had lots in common.  Our relationship blossomed into marriage 13 months later.  We are still in touch with many of the good friends we made during that time.
